How to Write a Resume Cover Letter
Grab the hiring manager's attention
with a clutter free resume cover letter.
Focus on the important stuff and cut out whatever isn't. Also keep your sentences
short and simple. Here's some examples:
Poor example:
"Pursuant to the job ad listed at xyz job site, I am herewith responding in hopes that you will provide me with consideration
regarding a potential possibility of an interview being granted with
myself and
with a high expectation of being hired for said employment as stated..."
Better Example: "I have a passion for
helping others and I know the importance of
team work and as such I am interested in the team leader position at
your charitable organization. My extensive experience make me well qualified to fill
this position and so I am interested in meeting with you for an interview
so that we can discuss further..."
It is helpful to read your cover letter aloud to yourself or someone
else. Cut unneeded
sentences and pompous phrases. Write and write again until you
get it exactly right.

Use hypnosis to help boost confidence at
interviews, and more
